Idaho Overland Route
Living Overland is excited to announce their first digital guidebook with the creation of the Idaho Overland Route digital guidebook. The route, developed by Living Overland’s Beau Johnston, traverses Idaho while covering nearly 600 miles of backcountry roads. The route begins in Jackson, Wyoming, and proceeds across the Upper Snake River Plain, through Idaho’s Central Mountains, and over the Owyhee Uplands before ending in Jordan Valley, Oregon. Travelers have the opportunity to travel through some of Idaho’s most rugged places and see portions of the state few know about.
Ready to Explore? Let's go!
We make the adventure easy, providing turn-by-turn route information in both the guidebook and GPS file. Formatted for tablet computers, our guidebook takes the guesswork out of travel with the following information:
- Turn-by-turn directions
- Suggested camping locations along the route
- Locations to fuel up along the route
- Locations to pick up groceries along the route
- Easy side trips for further exploration
Our GPS file provides all of the same turn-by-turn information, found in the guidebook, in a package you can download to your GPS unit.
For just $59.99, you get both the guidebook and licensed use of the downloadable GPS file. Compare that to a $164/night stay at the Old Faithful Lodge or a $109/day lift ticket to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
Pre-Order the Guide Book and GPS File - $59.99
We will email you a link to download the guidebook and GPS file after you place your order. We anticipate the guidebook and GPS file will be available May 2018. - I hope I get some time to finish it!
